MEP Discipline Lead

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced MEP Discipline Lead to join our team in Dubai United Arab Emirates. As the MEP Discipline Lead you will Lead the CI MEP team and have Technical and Commercial Leadership.  overseeing all aspects of the business unit including technical and commercial leadership and formulation of team strategy. 

Duties

• Support the growth of the team to meet ongoing and future workload
• Keeps informed of new developments and requirements affecting the organization for the purpose of recommending changes in programs and applications. 
• Interprets organizes executes and coordinates assignments. 
• Makes decisions independently on technical problems and methods and represents the organization in conferences to resolve important questions and to plan and coordinate work. 
• Applies advanced or state-of-the-art knowledge and experience to resolve crucial issues and/or unique conditions. The knowledge and expertise required for this level of work usually results from progressive experience. 
• Supervision received is essentially administrative with assignments given in terms of broad general objectives and limits

Qualifications :

• Bachelors degree in Mechanical Electrical or Plumbing Engineering
• Professional Engineering (PE) license preferred; LEED AP certification is a plus
• Minimum 20 years of experience in MEP engineering with a proven track record in leadership roles
• Extensive experience with leading a MEP business preferably in the Middle East region
• Strong technical knowledge of MEP systems and building codes including local regulations in Dubai and the UAE
• Excellent project management skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
• Demonstrated leadership abilities and experience in team management
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a keen attention to detail
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to interact effectively with clients team members and stakeholders
• In-depth understanding of sustainable design practices and energy-efficient MEP solutions
• Ability to make decisive and sound technical decisions under pressure
• Willingness to adapt to a dynamic work environment and travel as required
