High School Head – American Curriculum

We are looking for a High School Head(American Curriculum) for one of our prestigious and international client (School) in Al Ain UAE The ideal candidate must have proven UAE experience in-depth knowledge of the American curriculum and the ability to lead teaching staff while ensuring compliance with ADEK regulations. This role requires strategic leadership high academic standards and effective engagement with staff students parents and school leadership.

Academic Leadership

• Lead and oversee the implementation of the American Curriculum (Common Core NGSS AERO as applicable)
  

• Ensure high-quality teaching learning and assessment practices across all high school grades
  

• Monitor curriculum planning lesson delivery and student academic progress
  

• Promote academic excellence and student readiness for college and university pathways
  

School Operations & Management

• Manage the day-to-day operations of the high school division
  

• Ensure full compliance with ADEK policies inspections and reporting requirements
  

• Develop and implement academic calendars timetables and assessment schedules
  

• Contribute to school improvement plans and strategic initiatives
  

Staff Leadership & Development

• Lead mentor and evaluate high school teaching and academic staff
  

• Conduct classroom observations and performance reviews
  

• Support professional development and continuous instructional improvement
  

• Foster a collaborative professional and high-performing school culture
  

Student Welfare & Discipline

• Promote a safe inclusive and positive learning environment
  

• Oversee student behaviour management attendance and wellbeing
  

• Address disciplinary matters in line with school policies and UAE regulations
  

• Support guidance counseling and student leadership programs
  

Parent & Community Engagement

• Build strong relationships with parents and guardians
  

• Lead parent meetings academic conferences and school events
  

• Act as the primary point of contact for high school academic matters
  

• Represent the school professionally within the local and wider community
  

Reporting & Strategic Contribution

• Prepare academic and operational reports for senior leadership
  

• Analyze student performance data to drive continuous improvement
  

• Support school accreditation processes and ADEK inspections
