Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced Procurement Engineer with a strong background in industrial and warehouse construction projects. This role is ideal for candidates who have hands-on experience managing construction procurement supplier negotiations and cost optimization within the UAE construction market.
Key Responsibilities:
Coordinate material requirements with Project Managers and Site Teams
Prepare review and manage Bills of Quantities (BOQs)
Source evaluate and negotiate with suppliers and subcontractors
Ensure timely procurement and delivery of construction materials to site
Implement value engineering and cost-saving initiatives
Monitor supplier performance pricing trends and market availability
Maintain accurate procurement records and reports
Support project cost control and budget management objectives
Requirements:
Bachelors degree in Civil Engineering
67 years of UAE experience as a Procurement Engineer
Proven experience in industrial buildings and warehouse construction projects
Strong expertise in value engineering and strategic sourcing
Excellent negotiation communication and stakeholder coordination skills
Familiarity with UAE suppliers materials and construction market rates
Demonstrated success in achieving cost savings through effective procurement strategies
