Job Summary
A leading semi-government utilities organization in the UAE is seeking an experienced Network Planning Manager Electricity to lead the strategic planning development and optimization of the electricity distribution network. This is a senior technical role responsible for ensuring reliability capacity growth and long-term infrastructure planning in line with national energy objectives.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop short- medium- and long-term electricity network planning strategies.
- Conduct load forecasting capacity analysis and demand growth modelling.
- Lead network expansion projects reinforcements and system upgrades.
- Ensure compliance with local regulatory standards safety and technical codes.
- Coordinate with engineering operations asset management and capital planning teams.
- Prepare technical reports investment justifications and planning recommendations to senior management.
Requirements
Requirements
- Bachelors degree in Electrical Engineering (Masters preferred).
- Minimum 10 years of experience in electricity network planning or power distribution.
- Strong expertise in load flow studies network modelling tools and utility planning systems.
- Experience within large utilities infrastructure or energy sector organizations in the GCC is highly desirable.
