Job Description: Civil Engineer
Job Summary
The Civil Engineer will be responsible for planning executing and supervising construction projects from initial design through completion. The role involves ensuring structural integrity quality standards safety compliance and timely project delivery in accordance with approved drawings specifications and local regulations.
Key Responsibilities
Plan design and oversee construction and maintenance of civil engineering projects such as buildings roads and infrastructure works
Interpret and review construction drawings specifications BOQs and project schedules
Supervise site activities to ensure work is executed as per approved plans and quality standards
Coordinate with architects consultants contractors and subcontractors for smooth project execution
Monitor project progress timelines and costs and report deviations to management
Ensure compliance with Dubai Municipality regulations safety standards and construction codes
Conduct site inspections quality checks and material approvals
Prepare technical reports progress reports and site documentation
Resolve site-related technical issues and provide engineering solutions
Ensure proper implementation of health safety and environmental (HSE) practices on site
Essential Qualifications
Bachelors Degree in Civil Engineering
Minimum 35 years of relevant experience in construction projects (UAE experience preferred)
Valid experience working on residential commercial or infrastructure projects
Skills Required
Strong knowledge of civil construction methods materials and standards
Proficiency in AutoCAD and basic knowledge of MS Office
Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications
Good site supervision coordination and problem-solving skills
Knowledge of quality control safety standards and compliance requirements
Effective communication and reporting skills
