Job Description Civil Foreman
Job Summary
The Civil Foreman will be responsible for supervising and coordinating on-site civil construction activities to ensure work is executed as per drawings specifications quality standards and project timelines. The role involves managing manpower materials and daily site operations while maintaining safety and productivity.
Key Responsibilities
Supervise and coordinate daily civil construction activities at the project site
Allocate tasks and manage masons helpers carpenters and subcontractor teams
Ensure work is carried out as per approved drawings specifications and schedules
Monitor site progress and report daily work status to the Site Engineer or Project Manager
Ensure proper usage handling and availability of construction materials
Maintain quality standards for concreting shuttering reinforcement and finishing works
Enforce site safety rules and ensure compliance with HSE guidelines
Identify and resolve on-site technical or manpower issues promptly
Coordinate with other trades (MEP finishing teams) to avoid work conflicts
Maintain site records such as attendance work progress and material consumption
Essential Qualifications
Diploma or ITI in Civil Engineering or relevant construction trade
Minimum 36 years of experience as a Civil Foreman or similar role
GCC/UAE experience will be an added advantage
Skills & Competencies
Strong knowledge of civil construction methods and site execution
Ability to read and understand construction drawings and plans
Good leadership and team-handling skills
Basic understanding of quality control and safety practices
Problem-solving and decision-making ability on site
Good communication skills to coordinate with engineers and workers
