Job Summary

We are seeking a compassionate and qualified Arabic-speaking Psychologist to join our school program in Dubai UAE. This is an excellent opportunity for a mental health professional who is passionate about supporting the emotional and psychological wellbeing of students in an educational setting.

As part of our dedicated team you will work closely with students families and school staff to provide comprehensive psychological services that promote positive mental health academic success and personal development. The ideal candidate will be fluent in Arabic and English with a deep understanding of the cultural context of the UAE and the ability to communicate effectively with diverse student populations.

This full-time position offers the chance to make a meaningful impact on young lives by delivering evidence-based psychological interventions conducting assessments and collaborating with educators to create supportive learning environments.

Requirements

Education & Certification:
Masters degree or PhD in Clinical Psychology Educational Psychology Counseling Psychology or related field
Valid license to practice psychology in the UAE (or eligible for licensure)
Membership with relevant professional bodies (e.g. Dubai Health Authority Ministry of Health)

Language Skills:
Native or fluent proficiency in Arabic (spoken and written)
Strong English language skills for professional communication
Ability to conduct assessments and therapy sessions in both Arabic and English

Experience:
Minimum 2-3 years of experience working as a psychologist preferably in educational or school settings
Experience working with children and adolescents across various age groups
Proven track record of conducting psychological assessments and developing intervention plans

Professional Skills:
Strong knowledge of child and adolescent development and mental health
Experience with various therapeutic approaches (CBT DBT play therapy family therapy)
Ability to conduct standardized psychological and educational assessments
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
Cultural sensitivity and awareness of diverse family backgrounds
Strong organizational and documentation skills
Ability to work collaboratively in a multidisciplinary team environment
