Job Summary
We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Engineer - Bridge to join our dynamic team in Dubai United Arab this pivotal role you will lead the design analysis and project management of complex bridge structures ensuring the highest standards of safety efficiency and innovation.
- Develop and oversee the design of various bridge types
- Conduct detailed structural analysis and load calculations for bridge projects
- Utilize advanced bridge design software to create and optimize bridge models
- Lead and mentor junior engineers providing technical guidance and support
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams including architects geotechnical engineers and construction managers
- Ensure compliance with local and international bridge design codes and standards
- Prepare and review technical reports specifications and construction drawings
- Manage project timelines budgets and resources effectively
- Participate in client meetings and presentations to communicate design concepts and progress
- Stay updated on industry trends and emerging technologies in bridge engineering
Qualifications :
- Bachelors degree in Civil Engineering required; Masters degree preferred
- Minimum of 10 years of experience in bridge engineering with a proven track record of successful project delivery
- Extensive knowledge of structural engineering principles and bridge design codes
- Proficiency in bridge design software
- Strong AutoCAD skills for creating and reviewing construction drawings
- Excellent project management abilities including resource allocation and timeline management
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail
- Strong technical report writing and presentation abilities
- Familiarity with various construction methodologies and their impact on bridge design
- Ability to work effectively in a multicultural environment
- Willingness to travel to project sites as needed
