The primary purpose of this position is to drive F&B bookings across all outlets through building connections with social networks targeted dinning groups promotions and reaching out to various social clubs.
This is accomplished by managing and developing existing databases understanding each outlet offerings limitations and potentials analysing guests behaviour and understanding their background.
Also it is important to understand trends and day of week and special events tracking & providing insights on promotions & special offers work closely with F&B team F&B Revenue Manager Marketing and GC&E.
What will I be doing
Implement the use of basic sales techniques / principles as set out in the Customer Focused Selling school of thought and Hilton loyalty programs.
Pro-actively sell Outlets for Hilton Dubai Palm Jumeirah as per defined scope.
Co-ordination and implementation of the social segments sales activities and alignment of strategy with the hotel business mix with the aim of maximizing footfall and covers while minimizing the costs involved.
Identification of potential new social accounts and assuring the corresponding sales activities to win these customers.
Generation of leads for the hotels monitoring of offers and being actively involved in the follow up process to increase conversion in close cooperation with the C&B department.
Achievement of set targets and agreed goals and delivery of incremental revenue for the hotel.
Effective and pro-active communication with the team members hotel teams and other relevant stakeholders.
Active outside face-to-face sales calling required.
Ensures the prompt and systematic servicing of all business accounts (i.e. tracing booking contracting communicating with departments and following up with group for feedback and future bookings).
Maintains high visibility in the surrounding community and in the hospitality community as appropriate.
Submit monthly and weekly sales plans as well as daily sales/activity reports which will also include persons entertained for sales purposes
Professionally represents the hotel in community and industry organizations and events.
To establish a rapport with guests maintaining good customer relationship.
Partnership with vendors and key account management for assigned segment.
Develop new accounts through pro-active prospecting efforts.
Site inspection of F&B Outlets including hotel facilities.
Prompt response to all forms of inquiries to capture additional market share.
Follow up and confirm with clients on all information pertaining to the events and to organize information for accurate turnover once account turns definite.
Develop G&CE Events and conferences business as well.
Support and uphold the Hotels mission vision and guiding principles.
