Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and hardworking Helper to join our team in Al Ain United Arab Emirates. As a Helper you will play a crucial role in supporting our construction and marine-related projects by assisting skilled workers maintaining equipment and ensuring a safe work environment.
- Set up tools equipment and materials at work sites
- Assist carpenters fitters masons and other team members as required
- Operate hand tools power tools and basic equipment or machinery
- Carry out tasks assigned by immediate group leaders and foremen
- Support the storekeeper in organizing and managing material stock
- Clean and organize tools equipment and work areas after each shift
- Perform tasks in various environments including near shorelines and in confined spaces
- Adhere to safety protocols and wear appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE)
- Contribute to accident prevention by maintaining a clean and organized work environment
- Follow instructions from immediate supervisors and work collaboratively with team members
- Assist in the completion of projects by performing various support tasks as needed
Qualifications :
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in construction or marine-related work in the UAE
- Overall 5 years of experience in a similar field
- Proficiency in using hand tools and power tools
- Strong physical stamina and ability to perform manual labor
- Basic understanding of safety procedures and willingness to follow safety protocols
- Excellent attention to detail and ability to follow instructions accurately
- Flexibility to work in various weather conditions and environments
- Good organizational skills and ability to maintain a clean work area
- Collaborative mindset and willingness to support team members
- Basic English language skills for effective communication
- Swimming skills (preferred)
- Knowledge of rigger or fitter helper duties (preferred)
- Ability to work efficiently and meet project deadlines
- Willingness to learn and adapt to new tasks and responsibilities
