Job Summary
To carry out preventive corrective and emergency maintenance of diesel enginedriven dewatering pumpsgenerators ensuring reliable operation during normal conditions and critical situations .
Perform routine servicing and maintenance of diesel engines including oil change filter replacement belt checks and cooling system inspection.
Diagnose and repair diesel engine faults related to starting overheating abnormal noise vibration or smoke emissions.
Carry out maintenance of dewatering pumps including inspection of impellers seals bearings suction and discharge lines.
Ensure proper pump priming alignment and discharge pressure before operation.
Attend breakdown and emergency call-outs especially during rain or flood with electricians for issues related to control panels alarms and safety equipment condition defects and spare part requirements to the supervisor.
Qualifications :
ITI / Diploma in Mechanical Automobile or Diesel Engine Technology.
Minimum 5 years of hands-on experience in diesel engine maintenance.
Mandatory -UAE Driving license - Manual
Experience with dewatering pumps stormwater pumps or construction pumping systems is mandatory.
