Job Summary
Our Emirati internship programme at Freshfields will provide access to experienced lawyers and a wide-range of cross-border work including some of the most complex challenging and interesting projects and risk management issues/disputes in the market. This programme offers opportunities to gain practical knowledge of a law firm and gain experience working with business services departments and legal professionals. Your role as a junior member of the team will be to assist with all aspects of the departments caseload.
The opportunities are to work across our market leading dispute resolution and global transactions or business services departments in Dubai and Abu Dhabi and with colleagues from international backgrounds. Some of the tasks work experience students will be involved in are (but not limited to) legal research translations preparation for business development job shadowing and career conversations with established legal professionals.

- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to communicate (write and speak) in English confidently
- Excellent attention to detail organisation and time management
- Ability to work both independently and as part of a team
- Familiarity with Microsoft Office (training will be provided)
