The QC Officer oversees and implements the quality assurance and quality control system across production or project operations. This role ensures that products or processes meet internal and external standards regulatory requirements and customer expectations.
Key Responsibilities:
Develop implement and monitor quality control procedures and plans.
Ensure products and work processes comply with relevant standards (ISO internal quality requirements).
Conduct quality audits inspections and tests of materials processes and finished goods.
Identify quality issues raise NCRs (Non-Conformance Reports) and follow up on corrective and preventive actions.
Prepare and maintain quality documentation inspection records reports and data logs.
Coordinate with production engineering and project teams to resolve quality challenges.
Monitor supplier and subcontractor quality ensuring compliance with contractual standards.
Support quality improvement initiatives and client/customer audits.
Typical Requirements:
Bachelors degree or diploma in engineering or related field.
37 years of QA/QC experience in industrial manufacturing construction or engineering environments.
Knowledge of quality systems such as ISO 9001 and inspection/testing practices
Strong documentation analytical and communication skills.
