Job Title - Senior Quality Assurance
About the Role
We are seeking a detail-oriented Senior Quality Assurance professional to ensure the delivery of reliable high-quality software and systems within a trading and industrial solutions environment. This role involves leading testing efforts defining quality standards collaborating closely with development and business teams and proactively identifying risks to maintain product excellence across the full software lifecycle.
Key Responsibilities
Quality Assurance Planning & Execution
Define and execute comprehensive test strategies plans and schedules aligned with project objectives.
Perform functional integration regression system and user acceptance testing.
Ensure testing coverage across applications integrations and business workflows.
Defect Management & Analysis
Identify document and track defects through resolution.
Perform root-cause analysis and work with development teams to prevent recurrence.
Validate fixes and ensure timely closure of issues.
Process & Standards Compliance
Ensure adherence to quality standards SDLC processes and testing best practices.
Contribute to the development and continuous improvement of QA processes and documentation.
Support audits and compliance requirements where applicable.
Automation & Tools
Design execute and maintain automated test scripts where applicable.
Identify opportunities to expand test automation to improve efficiency and coverage.
Utilize test management and defect-tracking tools effectively.
Collaboration & Communication
Work closely with developers product managers and project teams to clarify requirements and acceptance criteria.
Participate in sprint planning reviews and retrospectives.
Communicate testing progress risks and quality metrics to stakeholders.
Mentoring & Knowledge Sharing
Guide and support junior QA team members.
Share best practices and promote a strong quality-focused culture.
Contribute to knowledge bases and test documentation.
Qualifications & Experience
Bachelors degree in Computer Science Information Technology or a related field.
58 years of experience in software quality assurance.
Strong understanding of QA methodologies SDLC and testing techniques.
Hands-on experience with manual and automated testing.
Familiarity with test management and defect-tracking tools.
Experience testing APIs integrations and data-driven systems is preferred.
Excellent analytical problem-solving and communication skills.
