Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced and visionary Associate Director- Electrical to join our team in Dubai United Arab this key leadership role you will oversee and guide our electrical engineering projects ensuring excellence in design execution and client satisfaction.
- Lead and manage a team of electrical engineers providing technical guidance and mentorship
- Oversee the planning design and implementation of large-scale electrical projects
- Develop and maintain client relationships acting as the primary point of contact for high-profile projects
- Ensure compliance with local electrical codes regulations and industry standards
- Drive innovation and efficiency in electrical engineering processes and methodologies
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate electrical systems with other engineering disciplines
- Manage project budgets timelines and resources to ensure successful project delivery
- Conduct technical reviews and quality assurance checks on electrical designs and documentation
- Stay current with emerging technologies and industry trends in electrical engineering
- Contribute to business development efforts and strategic planning for the electrical engineering department
Qualifications :
- Bachelors degree in Electrical Engineering; Masters degree preferred
- Professional Engineering (PE) license required
- Project Management Professional (PMP) certification preferred
- Minimum 18 years of experience in electrical engineering with 5 years in a managerial or leadership role
- Proven track record in managing large-scale electrical projects
- Advanced knowledge of electrical engineering principles and practices
- Expertise in power systems design electrical distribution systems and building electrical systems
- Strong proficiency in electrical design software (e.g. AutoCAD Electrical ETAP)
- Excellent project management skills including budget and resource allocation
- Outstanding leadership abilities with a track record of mentoring and developing engineering teams
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Knowledge of energy efficiency and sustainability practices in electrical engineering
- Familiarity with local electrical codes and regulations in the UAE
- Ability to work effectively in a multicultural environment
- Willingness to travel as required for project site visits and client meetings
