AECOM are currently seeking an experienced Associate Consultant Urban Advisory. The successful candidate is responsible for leading project delivery driving innovation and ensuring high-quality outcomes across urban advisory projects. This role combines hands-on design and technical leadership with strategic thinking team coordination and client engagement. The Associate Consultant contributes to the development of methodologies standards and workflows that align with market and client needs while mentoring junior staff and supporting business development efforts.
Responsibilities:
- Lead the development of urban strategies masterplans policy frameworks and feasibility studies for cities districts and major developments.
- Shape long-term visions for urban transformation programs aligning with national agendas economic diversification goals and sustainability frameworks.
- Advise clients on land-use optimization development positioning and strategic trade-offs to maximise social environmental and economic value.
- Develop robust analytical models for population employment land demand and infrastructure needs.
- Lead scenario planning risk analysis and resilience strategies to support future-proofed urban decision-making.
- Oversee complex multi-disciplinary projects from concept to delivery ensuring quality timeliness and client satisfaction.
- Produce and review analytical outputs such as market assessments socio-economic studies business cases and development projections.
- Build maintain and grow key client relationships across government urban development authorities and major private-sector developers.
Qualifications :
- A minimum of 10 years post-undergraduate experience.
- Bachelors degree in the relevant discipline field. Masters degree preferred. Working towards professional membership in Urban Design or Architecture e.g.
- Experience within urban / masterplanning economics policy and development strategy is required for the role.
