Job Summary
General Description of Role and Responsibilities:
- Assist the Resident Engineer in overseeing daytoday construction activities and project progress.
- Supervise contractors and subcontractors to ensure work is performed in accordance with project specifications and schedules.
- Monitor construction methods materials and workmanship to ensure compliance with approved drawings and specifications.
- Conduct regular site inspections and prepare detailed progress reports.
- Coordinate with project stakeholders including consultants contractors and local authorities to resolve technical issues and site challenges.
- Review and approve construction shop drawings method statements and material submittals.
- Monitor quality control procedures and ensure adherence to safety regulations and best practices.
- Assist in reviewing contractor claims variations and progress payments.
- Support the Resident Engineer in preparing project documentation reports and correspondence.
- Attend project and coordination meetings as required.
Qualifications Experience Knowledge and Skills:
- Bachelors Degree in Civil Engineering or a related field.
- Minimum of 10 years of experience in construction supervision preferably within PMC or largescale infrastructure projects in the UAE.
- Strong knowledge of construction methods materials and industry standards.
- Proficiency in project management software and MS Office.
- Excellent communication leadership and problemsolving skills.
- Experience in Landscape and infrastructure projects.
