Job Summary
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Contracts Engineer to join our team in Dubai United Arab Emirates. As a key member of our organization you will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of contract management and commercial operations ensuring compliance with legal requirements and maximizing business value.
- Develop negotiate and manage complex commercial contracts with clients vendors and partners
- Analyze and mitigate contractual risks ensuring the protection of company interests
- Collaborate with crossfunctional teams to develop and implement effective contract strategies
- Oversee the entire contract lifecycle from initiation to closeout
- Conduct financial analysis to evaluate contract performance and profitability
- Ensure compliance with UAE commercial laws and regulations
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders
- Implement and maintain contract management systems and processes
- Provide guidance and training to team members on contract management best practices
- Stay updated on industry trends and legal developments affecting contract management
Qualifications :
- Bachelors degree in Quantity Surveying Construction Management or related field
- Minimum 10 years of experience in contract management or commercial roles
- Strong knowledge of UAE commercial laws and regulations
- Excellent negotiation and communication skills
- Proven ability to analyze complex financial data and assess risks
- Proficiency in contract management software and Microsoft Office Suite
- Experience working in the UAE business environment
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Ability to work effectively under pressure and meet deadlines
- Professional certifications such as MRICS or MInstCES preferred
- Understanding of contract law
- Demonstrated leadership and decisionmaking abilities
- Fluency in English; Arabic language skills are a plus
