Job Summary
Education/Qualifications
- Secondary School Certificate 10th Standard) is a must.
- Relevant Trade Certification is preferred.
6 months Vocational Education/1year/2 years ITI in Mechanical/Electrical/Electronic Engineering is preferred.
Skills/Competencies/ Experience
6months Vocational Education 3 5 years relevant experience.
1year ITI 2 3 years relevant experience.
2year ITI 0 2 years relevant experience.
Preferablyhaving experience in the industrial sector working on production machineriesprocess plants power plants cement plants drydock etc as a servicetechnician handling lager Motor Control Centres including PLCs & VFDs.
- Service Orientation and Ethics & Integrity.
- Reliability and Commitment.
- Basic communication skills and knowledge in other languages will be an advantage.
Mustbe in the age group between 25 and 35 years of age.
Mustbe physically fit to perform the required job.
- A reasonable degree of computer skills.
- Secondary School Certificate 10th Standard) is a must.
Carry out preventive & corrective maintenance works of larger motor control centres and associated control devices connected to potable water & fire pumps diesel engines & industrial machineries power generators variable frequency drives programmable logic controllers auto transformers starter panels etc. |
Troubleshoot system failures on all of the above equipment /systems/accessories with minimum downtime |
Installation of motor control centres & associated control devices and testing the installed systems when required |
Attend 24/7 standby duty as per duty roster |
Carry out land and marine based work within the boundaries of the UAE |
Assist in condition surveys / snagging works of Electrical systems when required |
Carry out any other appropriate works as assigned time to time |
Comply with companies EHS & Q regulations |
