Polisher

Key Responsibilities:

1. Surface Polishing & Maintenance

• Polish and maintain metal wood marble and glass surfaces to ensure a highquality finish.

• Conduct routine inspections to identify scratches tarnishes or wear on surfaces and apply the necessary restoration techniques.

• Utilize appropriate chemicals and polishing tools based on surface type and manufacturer recommendations.

2. Repair & Restoration

• Perform minor repairs on furniture fixtures and decorative pieces to restore their original appearance.

• Apply protective coatings waxes and sealants to prolong the life of surfaces.

• Work with the carpentry team to refinish damaged or wornout wooden elements.

3. Equipment & Safety Compliance

• Ensure proper handling storage and usage of polishing tools equipment and chemicals.

• Adhere to safety procedures including the use of personal protective equipment (PPE).

• Report any major damages or maintenance issues to the Engineering Supervisor.

4. Guest & Staff Interaction

• Maintain a professional and friendly demeanor when working in public areas.

• Ensure minimal disruption to guests while carrying out tasks.

• Respond to maintenance requests promptly and efficiently.

5. Inventory & Documentation

• Maintain records of polishing schedules completed tasks and materials used.

• Assist in inventory management by requesting necessary supplies and equipment.

Qualifications :

• Prior experience as a polisher preferably in a luxury hotel or resort setting.

• Strong knowledge of polishing techniques for various surfaces including wood metal and marble.

• Familiarity with the safe use of polishing machines tools and chemicals.

• Attention to detail and ability to maintain highquality finishing standards.

• Basic repair and restoration skills.

• Ability to work independently and within a team.

• Good communication and timemanagement skills.
