Job Summary
Motivate Media Group is looking for a dedicated and proactive Editor/Translator to join our Arabic team. The role involves translating and refining content across multiple media platforms to effectively connect with our Arabicspeaking audience.
Key Responsibilities
Primary Responsibilities:
- Translating content between English and Arabic.
- Conducting ArabicEnglish and EnglishArabic text comparisons to ensure accuracy and credibility.
Secondary Responsibilities:
- Subediting content in collaboration with the Head of Department.
- Coordinating with editorial and production teams to ensure smooth workflows.
- Monitoring project progress and liaising with clients in the Head of Department s absence.
Requirements
Requirements
- Proven experience as a translator specializing in Arabiclanguage media content.
- Bachelor s degree in Translation or a related field.
- Proficiency in both Arabic and English.
- Strong writing and communication skills in Arabic.
- Familiarity with translation and localization tools/software.
- Ability to work efficiently under pressure and meet deadlines.
- Knowledge of UAE press and publication laws.
