Job Summary
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Civil Engineer to join our team in Dubai United Arab Emirates. As a Senior Civil Engineer - Site you will play a crucial role in overseeing and managing large-scale construction projects ensuring their successful completion while adhering to quality standards safety regulations and project timelines.
- Lead and supervise civil engineering projects from conception to completion ensuring adherence to specifications budgets and schedules
- Develop and review detailed engineering designs drawings and specifications for construction projects
- Conduct site inspections and quality control checks to ensure compliance with project requirements and local regulations
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams including architects contractors and other stakeholders
- Manage and mentor junior engineers and technical staff
- Prepare and present technical reports project updates and recommendations to senior management and clients
- Implement and maintain safety protocols on construction sites
- Identify and resolve complex engineering challenges throughout the project lifecycle
- Stay updated on industry trends innovative technologies and sustainable construction practices
Qualifications :
- Bachelors degree in Civil Engineering; Masters degree preferred
- Project Management Professional (PMP) certification is a plus
- Minimum of 8-10 years of experience in civil engineering with a focus on site supervision
- Proven track record of successfully managing large-scale construction projects
- Advanced knowledge of civil engineering principles and practices
- Proficiency in AutoCAD and other relevant engineering software
- Strong project management and leadership skills
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical abilities
- Effective communication skills both written and verbal
- In-depth knowledge of local building codes and regulations in Dubai and the UAE
- Familiarity with sustainable construction practices and LEED certification
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced dynamic environment
- Willingness to work on-site and travel as required
