Role Overview:
We are seeking dedicated and enthusiastic individuals to join our esteemed team as Ground Staff in the Leisure Travel & Tourism industry. As a vital part of our operations Ground Staff play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth and efficient functioning of our services. This position requires individuals who are customer-oriented possess excellent communication skills and are adept at handling various tasks in a high-pressure environment. Ground Staff are responsible for facilitating the travel experience of our clients from check-in to baggage handling and everything in between.
Responsibilities:
- Assist passengers with check-in boarding procedures and baggage handling.
- Coordinate with airlines transportation providers and other service partners to ensure smooth ground operations.
- Manage passenger flow and provide clear communication regarding schedules delays or changes.
- Handle customer inquiries complaints and special requests with professionalism and empathy.
- Maintain accurate records of passenger information and operational activities.
- Ensure compliance with safety security and regulatory requirements at all times.
- Support team members and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives.
Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent; additional certifications in hospitality or travel-related fields are a plus.
- Previous experience in customer service hospitality or travel industry preferred.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills with a customer-focused mindset.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced dynamic environment.
- Problem-solving skills and the ability to remain calm under pressure.
- Flexibility to work varied shifts including weekends and holidays.
- Basic computer skills and familiarity with reservation or check-in systems is advantageous.
