Consultant Urban Advisory

We are seeking a dynamic and innovative Consultant - Urban Advisory to join our team in Dubai United Arab Emirates. As a key member of our urban advisory practice you will play a crucial role in shaping sustainable and efficient urban environments across the region.

Responsibilities:

• Develop design content across various project stages applying technical knowledge to produce high-quality outputs.
• Independently conduct research extract relevant insights and communicate findings clearly through graphics and concise writing.
• Prepare reports and presentation materials based on team-developed storyboards and create additional content as needed.
• Participate in interdisciplinary reviews and contribute to deliverables including calculations sketches diagrams datasets and reports.
• Maintain a strong understanding of urban design principles typologies planning practices and the built environment.
• Support the development of project documentation including descriptive and technical writing for reports guidelines and presentations.
• Attend workshops and meetings accurately capturing key discussion points and outcomes.
• Take ownership of assigned work packages and deliver them efficiently with minimal supervision.
• Promote quality assurance by reviewing deliverables before submission and advocating for high standards across the team.
• Encourage out-of-the-box thinking and introduce new ideas and approaches to enhance project outcomes.
• Organise and participate in knowledge-sharing and collaboration sessions to strengthen team capabilities.

Qualifications :

• Bachelors or in Urban Planning Geography or a related subject
• Minimum of 3-5 years of experience within an Urban Planning environment 
• Strong knowledge of urban development principles zoning regulations and sustainable design practices
• Demonstrate proficiency in: Design & Visualisation: Adobe Creative Suite SketchUp Rhino CAD.
• Demonstrate proficiency in: GIS & Data: ArcGIS/QGIS Power BI MS Office.
• Continuously explore and adopt new tools and workflows to improve team efficiency and communication.
