Description
We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Draftsman to join our dynamic team in the construction industry. The ideal candidate will possess a comprehensive understanding of architectural and engineering principles coupled with exceptional drafting skills to translate complex design concepts into precise technical drawings. As a Draftsman you will be responsible for creating detailed plans layouts and specifications that meet the regulatory requirements and client expectations.
Responsibilities
- Create and modify detailed architectural structural and mechanical drawings using CAD software.
- Interpret sketches specifications and technical reports to produce precise construction drawings.
- Collaborate with project teams to understand design requirements and incorporate feedback effectively.
- Ensure all drawings meet company standards regulatory codes and client expectations.
- Maintain organized documentation and version control for all project drawings.
- Assist in site visits when necessary to verify and update drawings based on field conditions.
- Support the engineering team by providing technical drawing expertise throughout project phases.
Qualifications & Skills
- Associate degree or diploma in Drafting Architecture Civil Engineering or related field.
- Proficiency in CAD software such as AutoCAD Revit or equivalent tools.
- Strong understanding of construction processes materials and industry standards.
- Excellent attention to detail with the ability to produce accurate and clear technical drawings.
- Good communication skills and ability to work collaboratively within multidisciplinary teams.
- Prior experience in the construction industry is preferred.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet project deadlines efficiently.
