Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Fitter to join our team in Dubai United Arab Emirates. As a Fitter you will play a crucial role in assembling installing and maintaining various mechanical components and structures in our manufacturing facility.
- Read and interpret technical drawings blueprints and specifications to determine fitting requirements
- Measure cut and shape materials according to specifications using various hand and power tools
- Assemble and install mechanical components ensuring proper alignment and fit
- Perform welding tasks as needed to join metal parts and components
- Conduct quality checks to ensure all fittings meet required standards and specifications
- Troubleshoot and repair mechanical systems and equipment
- Maintain a clean and organized work area adhering to all safety protocols
- Collaborate with other team members to complete projects efficiently and on schedule
- Document work completed and report any issues or concerns to supervisors
Qualifications :
- High school diploma or equivalent; vocational training or apprenticeship in fitting or related field preferred
- Minimum 2-3 years of experience as a Fitter in a manufacturing or construction environment
- Proficiency in reading and interpreting technical drawings and blueprints
- Expertise in using hand and power tools for cutting shaping and assembling materials
- Strong knowledge of various fitting techniques and procedures
- Ability to measure and cut materials accurately with attention to detail
- Welding skills preferred
- Excellent problem-solving abilities and mechanical aptitude
- Familiarity with industry safety standards and regulations
- Knowledge of materials commonly used in fitting processes
- Relevant trade certifications (e.g. AWS ASME) are a plus
- Physical stamina and ability to lift heavy objects
- Strong communication skills and ability to work effectively in a team environment
- Willingness to work flexible hours as needed
