Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced Structural Designer with a strong background in the Engineering phase of onshore oil and gas projects. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 8 years of proven experience in FEED Detailed Engineering and Detailed Design. Previous experience working on ADNOC projects will be considered a significant advantage.
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Prepare and develop structural design deliverables including 3D models GA drawings fabrication drawings and material take-offs.
- Work closely with structural engineers to translate conceptual and design intent into detailed construction-ready documentation.
- Ensure design compliance with international codes client specifications and project requirements.
- Participate in model reviews clash checks and interface coordination meetings.
- Support inter-discipline coordination and resolve design issues during the design development phase.
- Incorporate design changes and prepare revision documentation as needed.
- Ensure quality and consistency of deliverables within project schedules and budget.
KEY QUALIFICATIONS:
- Diploma or Degree in Civil/Structural Engineering or equivalent technical qualification.
- Minimum 8 years of experience in structural design for onshore oil and gas projects.
- Strong experience in FEED Detailed Engineering and Detailed Design phases.
- Proficiency in industry-standard design and modeling tools such as AutoCAD SmartPlant 3D PDMS or similar.
- Familiarity with international structural design codes (e.g. AISC BS Eurocode).
- ADNOC project experience is highly preferred.
- Excellent communication skills and ability to work collaboratively in a multidisciplinary team.
