Roles and Responsibilities

We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Estimation Engineer for our Security Solutions team.

As an Estimation Engineer you will be responsible for providing accurate cost estimations and technical solutions for a range of security systems and technologies including access control surveillance intrusion detection and other related security products and services.

Conduct detailed assessments of project specifications to prepare accurate cost estimates for security solutions and ELV systems.
Collaborate with project managers and technical teams to clarify requirements and ensure alignment on project scope and objectives.
Analyze historical data and market trends to benchmark costs and optimize bidding strategies for security system installations.
Prepare comprehensive tender documents including technical and financial proposals ensuring compliance with industry standards and client expectations.
Evaluate supplier and subcontractor quotes to ensure competitive pricing and adherence to quality standards for security products.
Utilize advanced estimation software and tools to streamline the estimation process enhancing accuracy and efficiency.
Participate in project meetings to provide insights on cost implications and recommend value-engineering opportunities.
Maintain updated knowledge of emerging technologies and regulations in security solutions to inform estimation practices.

Desired Candidate Profile

Bachelors degree in Engineering preferably in Electrical Electronics or a related field to ensure a strong technical foundation.

Minimum 5 years of relevant experience in estimating security solutions and ELV systems demonstrating a track record of successful project delivery.
Experience in working with major security systems (CCTV access control fire alarms) and knowledge of industry standards.
Demonstrated proficiency in estimation software such as Bluebeam AutoCAD or specialized security estimation tools.
Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex data and make informed decisions on project costs.
Excellent communication skills in English both written and verbal to effectively collaborate with diverse teams and clients.
Proven negotiation skills to secure favorable terms with suppliers and subcontractors enhancing project profitability.
Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills to manage multiple projects and deadlines effectively without compromising quality.
