Accounting & Finance Lead Opportunity Key Responsibilities
- Prepare timely and accurate monthly quarterly and annual financial statements and management reports in alignment with GAAP/IFRS standards.
- Assist with budgeting forecasting and variance analysis processes to support data-driven decision making.
- Build and maintain financial models for scenario planning growth projections and capital allocation.
- Manage cash flow forecasting working capital optimization and banking relationships.
- Implement and enhance internal controls accounting processes and financial policies to ensure compliance and operational excellence.
- Coordinate external audits tax filings and regulatory reporting in cooperation with external advisors and auditors.
- Support cross-functional teams on financial matters including pricing client contracts vendor negotiations and strategic initiatives.
Required Qualifications for Accounting & Finance Leadership
- Bachelors degree in Accounting Finance or related field; CPA CMA or equivalent certification preferred.
- 5 years of experience in accounting and finance roles with demonstrated progression in responsibility.
- Strong understanding of GAAP IFRS and regulatory requirements relevant to fintech or financial services operations.
- Advanced skills in Excel financial modeling and experience working with accounting software such as Xero QuickBooks NetSuite or similar platforms.
- Proven ability to manage month-end close processes budgeting and cross-functional collaboration in a dynamic environment.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities with a keen attention to detail.
- Outstanding written and verbal communication skills for conveying financial information to diverse audiences.
- Experience implementing process improvements and leveraging automation tools is a strong plus.
- Comfort working in fast-paced growth-oriented and technology-driven environments.
