Role Overview:
- Manage master planning material processes and systems prepare and update production schedules and purchasing needs. Ensure operational alignment with production plan and KPIs. Optimize inventory and support process improvements.
- Experience communicating with external customers and working in cross functional teams.
- Develop in-depth knowledge of a technical skills within aerospace configuration management. Uses prior experience and acquired technical expertise to execute policy/strategy.
- In-depth understanding of key business drivers; uses this understanding to accomplish own -depth understanding of how work of own team integrates with other teams and contributes to the area.
- Maintains strong cadence and follow up with vendors and suppliers improving materials availability and precision on gates allocation.
- Uses judgment and has ability to propose different solutions outside of set parameters within scope. Uses prior experience and on-the-job training to solve tasks. Has access to technical skills and analytic thinking required to solve problems. May use multiple internal sources outside of own team to arrive at decisions.
- Provide reports lead meetings with multiple stakeholders based on precise data that are also to be available on systems available to other functions.
Required Qualifications:
- This role requires advanced experience in the Manufacturing & Materials Planning and Execution.
- Knowledge level is comparable to a Bachelors degree from an accredited university or college
- At least 6 years of experience in Aerospace/airlines industry
Preferred Qualifications:
- Strong oral and written communication skills.
- Demonstrated ability to analyze and resolve problems.
- Ability to document plan market and execute programs.
- Established project management skills.
- APICS CPIM Certified in Planning and Inventory Management Certification is a plus.
