Job Summary
- Co-ordinate guest needs within the hotel
- Keep the guests informed about the formalities any special conditions relating to their stay and the services available
- Driving the catering vehicle to deliver food beverages and equipment to event locations.
- Maintain an up to date knowledge of the hotel and local services
- Enter in the logbook all trips made: departure time mileage time of return purpose of trip etc.
- Adhering to all traffic laws and company policies ensuring safe and responsible driving.
- Follow up on guest requests and ensure the guest is provided with all the assistance needed
- Assisting with the loading and unloading of catering items which may include heavy objects.
- Ensure the security of guests property during transfers
- Report any accident involving hotels car to the FOM
- Report for duty punctually wearing the correct uniform and name tag
- Ensuring the vehicle is well-maintained clean and in good working order including daily inspections and reporting any issues.
- Working with the catering team and other departments to ensure smooth delivery and setup.
- Read and understand the hotels Employee Handbook and adhere to the hotels rules and regulations in particular the policies and procedures relating to Fire Hygiene Health and Safety
- Comply with local legislation as required
- Be flexible and extend job duties to carry out any other reasonable duties and responsibilities within the job capability as assigned including redeployment to alternative departments/areas if required to meet business demands and guest service needs
- Attend training and meetings as and when required
Qualifications :
- Valid UAE driving license.
- Driving Experience is a must especially for truck driver or similar role particularly within the UAE.
- Good interpersonal skills guest oriented and service minded.
- Good listening skills and ability to anticipate.
- Good presentation and confident speaking skills.
