About the Role:
The Sales Analyst will be responsible for collecting analyzing and interpreting sales data to provide insights that support strategic decision-making. The role involves tracking key performance indicators (KPIs) identifying sales trends and helping improve overall sales performance and forecasting accuracy.
Key Responsibilities:
- Ensure the accuracy integrity and consistency of all sales data and reports.
- Deliver monthly and quarterly sales performance dashboards to management.
- Support the development of sales forecasts budgets and target-setting processes.
- Partner with the sales team to evaluate promotions pricing strategies and channel performance.
- Provide ad hoc analyses and insights to support decision-making at all organizational levels.
- Maintain strong alignment with Finance and Marketing to ensure consistency in data and reporting.
- Collect consolidate and analyze sales data from multiple sources (CRM ERP market data etc.).
- Track and report on key sales KPIs such as volume revenue margins and profitability by product channel and region.
- Identify trends opportunities and gaps in sales performance to support corrective actions.
- Prepare management presentations and sales performance reports.
Required skills & Qualifications:
- Advanced Microsoft Excel Skills Proficient in pivot tables Power Query macros complex formulas and data modeling.
- Power BI / Data Visualization Tools Experienced in designing maintaining and automating interactive dashboards.
- CRM and ERP Systems Working knowledge of platforms such as Salesforce SAP Oracle or comparable systems.
- Data Management & Accuracy Strong understanding of data integrity cleansing and validation best practices.
- Analytical & Statistical Tools Familiarity with data analysis and statistical tools is an advantage.
- Presentation & Reporting Ability to effectively communicate insights using PowerPoint and data storytelling techniques.
- Experience 24 years of relevant experience in sales analysis business analytics or commercial planning.
- Core Skills Strong analytical thinking problem-solving ability and high attention to detail.
- Communication Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Collaboration Proven ability to work collaboratively across teams and departments.
