Job Summary
We are looking for a proactive and detail-oriented Maintenance Assistant to support the upkeep repair and maintenance of our facilities and equipment. The ideal candidate will assist in routine maintenance tasks and respond to repair requests ensuring a safe and functional environment for all employees and visitors.
Key Responsibilities:

Assist with the maintenance and repair of buildings equipment and machinery.

Perform minor plumbing electrical painting and carpentry tasks.

Support preventive maintenance activities under the supervision of the Maintenance Technician or Supervisor.

Respond promptly to maintenance service requests and resolve issues efficiently.

Help maintain inventory of tools equipment and supplies.

Ensure cleanliness and safety in all maintenance work areas.

Assist with setup and dismantling of furniture equipment and fixtures for events or facility changes.

Comply with company safety standards and procedures.
Requirements:

High school diploma or equivalent.

Previous experience in a maintenance or handyman role preferred.

Basic knowledge of plumbing electrical HVAC and mechanical systems.

Ability to use hand tools and power tools safely.

Good physical condition with the ability to lift heavy items and perform manual labor.

Strong attention to detail and time management skills.

Ability to follow written and verbal instructions.
Preferred Qualifications:

Trade or vocational training in building maintenance or related field.

Certification in electrical HVAC or plumbing systems is a plus.

Familiarity with safety standards and building codes.
