Novotel & Adagio Premium Dubai Al Barsha is seeking an enthusiastic and skilled Demi Chef de Partie to contribute to our kitchens success and delight our guests with exceptional cuisine.
- Assist the Sous Chef in overseeing daily kitchen operations for your assigned section
- Prepare cook and present high-quality dishes according to our restaurants standards and recipes
- Ensure consistency in food preparation and presentation across all dishes
- Maintain a clean and organized workstation adhering to food safety and hygiene regulations
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure smooth service and timely delivery of dishes
- Contribute creative ideas for menu development and improvement
- Train and mentor junior kitchen staff members
- Assist in inventory management and stock rotation
- Adapt to changing priorities and handle multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment
- Communicate effectively with both kitchen and front-of-house staff to ensure guest satisfaction
Qualifications :
- Prior experience as a Demi Chef De Partie or in a similar culinary role
- Strong culinary skills and knowledge of various cooking techniques
- Ability to work efficiently under pressure in a fast-paced kitchen environment
- Excellent teamwork and communication skills
- Detail-oriented with a focus on food quality and presentation
- In-depth understanding of food safety and hygiene practices
- Creative approach to food preparation and presentation
- Effective time management and organizational skills
- Flexibility to work various shifts including weekends and holidays
- Culinary diploma or relevant certification (preferred)
- Proficiency in English; knowledge of additional languages is a plus
- Willingness to learn and adapt to new culinary trends and techniques
