We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Technical Engineer with a background in civil construction to join our team in Abu Dhabi. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of construction methods materials and processes as well as the ability to manage and coordinate various technical aspects of a project. This is a full-time position with opportunities for growth and advancement within our company.
Key Responsibilities:
- - Coordinate and oversee technical aspects of civil construction projects including site preparation foundation work structural design and building systems
- - Review and interpret project plans and specifications to ensure compliance with engineering standards and local regulations
- - Collaborate with project managers architects and other engineers to develop and implement project plans and schedules
- - Conduct site visits and inspections to monitor progress and identify any potential issues or delays
- - Prepare and review technical reports drawings and calculations to ensure accuracy and quality of work
- - Provide technical support and guidance to construction teams and subcontractors
- - Identify and recommend cost-effective solutions to technical problems or challenges that may arise during construction
- - Ensure compliance with safety standards and regulations on all construction sites
- - Keep up-to-date with industry developments and advancements in construction technology and techniques
Qualifications:
- - Bachelors degree in Civil Engineering or related field
- - Minimum of 8 years of experience in civil construction preferably in the UAE
- - Strong knowledge of construction methods materials and processes
- - Experience with project management and coordination
- - Proficient in AutoCAD and other relevant software
- - Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- - Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced and dynamic environment
- - Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities
- - Knowledge of local construction codes and regulations
- - Valid UAE driving license is preferred
