Job Summary
We are seeking a talented and passionate Demi Chef De Partie specializing in Pan Asian cuisine to join our culinary team in Dubai United Arab Emirates. As a key member of our kitchen brigade you will contribute to creating exceptional dining experiences for our guests while honing your skills in Asian flavors and techniques.
- Prepare and cook a variety of Pan Asian dishes ensuring consistency and quality in taste and presentation
- Assist the Chef de Partie in managing the assigned kitchen section
- Collaborate with team members to maintain smooth kitchen operations during service
- Ensure proper food handling storage and hygiene practices are followed at all times
- Contribute to menu development and recipe standardization
- Train and mentor junior kitchen staff in Pan Asian cooking techniques
- Maintain kitchen equipment and workstations in clean and organized condition
- Assist in inventory management and stock rotation
- Adapt to fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks efficiently
- Participate in team briefings and contribute ideas for continuous improvement
Qualifications :
- Culinary degree or diploma from a recognized institution
- Minimum 2-3 years of experience as a Demi Chef de Partie or in a similar role
- Proven experience in Pan Asian cuisine including Chinese Japanese Thai and other Asian culinary traditions
- Strong knowledge of Asian ingredients flavors and cooking techniques
- Excellent knife skills and proficiency in operating kitchen equipment
- Up-to-date food safety certification
- Ability to work in a fast-paced high-pressure environment
- Strong time management and organizational skills
- Effective communication and teamwork abilities
- Creativity and passion for culinary innovation
- Physical stamina to stand for extended periods and lift heavy items
- Flexibility to work varying shifts including weekends and holidays
- Fluency in English; knowledge of additional languages is a plus
