Position Overview
The Success Coach is a champion of personalized student centered learning and
holistic student growth within a dynamic hybrid environment. Working collaboratively
with students online teachers of record parents and Success Managers the Success
Coach ensures student mastery in academic subjects while mentoring learners to
become lifelong self-driven thinkers. This role combines Socratic teaching strategies
facilitation of life skills and support for student-led explorationcreating an inclusive
engaging atmosphere where every learners unique path is honored.
Key Responsibilities
Build trusting supportive relationships with students fostering growth mindsets
wellbeing and genuine curiosity for learning.
Facilitate focused learning blocks and group sessions that blend academic
mastery with social-emotional development and life skills.
Integrate the 4 Cscritical thinking creativity communication and
collaborationinto daily learning activities and project-based work.
Employ Socratic and inquiry-based teaching methods to stimulate rich dialogue
deep questioning and student-led discovery in every session.
Mentor learners guiding goal setting self-reflection and personal achievement
through ongoing encouragement and feedback.
Collaborate with online teachers of record to align academic objectives monitor
progress and coordinate personalized support for each learner.
Work with teachers Success Manager and parents to address individual learning
gaps reinforce mastery and share student growth insights.
Consistently encourage student ownership of learning embrace flexible
approaches and adapt supports to meet diverse needs.
Create a safe engaging and positive learning environment that celebrates
academic risk-taking resilience and personal growth.
Communicate regularly with families support staff and leadership to ensure the
coordinated development of every student.
Requirements
Qualifications
Bachelors degree in Education or a related field with experience in personalized innovative or hybrid learning environments preferred.
Demonstrated passion for mentoring and inspiring lifelong learning through flexible student-centered practices.
Knowledge of Socratic teaching strategies or a background in inquiry-based education highly valued.
Ability to nurture growth mindsets facilitate student-led learning and adapt instruction for individual strengths interests and needs.
Strong communication creativity and empathy aligned with La Sendas vision for personalized education.
