We are seeking a qualified and experienced Welding Inspector to ensure compliance with welding standards and project specifications in a major Oil & Gas development project. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in the field strong inspection capabilities and the ability to communicate effectively within a multidisciplinary team.
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Conduct welding inspections in accordance with applicable codes standards and project requirements.
- Review welding procedures welder qualifications and ensure proper execution on-site.
- Monitor and verify welding activities to ensure quality and adherence to the approved specifications.
- Identify and report non-conformities and ensure appropriate corrective actions are implemented.
- Collaborate with QA/QC construction and client teams to resolve technical issues.
- Maintain detailed inspection records and generate reports for quality documentation.
KEY QUALIFICATIONS:
- Minimum 5 years of experience in the Oil & Gas industry in a similar role.
- Diploma in Engineering (relevant discipline).
- Certification in CSWIP 3.1 AWS-CWI or an equivalent qualification approved by the Client.
- Strong knowledge of welding codes and standards (ASME API etc.).
- Good command of English both written and verbal.
