Pediatric Therapist
Summary
As a Pediatric Therapist you will be dedicated to assessing and treating children with various developmental emotional and behavioral challenges. Your role is vital in supporting young patients and their families helping them navigate and overcome obstacles to achieve optimal growth and development. This position is essential in providing specialized care tailored to the unique needs of children fostering their well-being and enhancing their quality of life.
Responsibilities
- Conduct comprehensive assessments of childrens developmental and psychological needs.
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans.
- Provide therapy sessions tailored to children including play therapy and family counseling.
- Monitor and document patient progress adjusting treatment plans as necessary.
- Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to ensure integrated care.
- Educate families on strategies to support their childs development at home.
- Stay informed about the latest advancements in pediatric therapy and child psychology.
Requirements
Requirements:
- Masters degree in Psychology Occupational Therapy or a related field.
- Licensure as a Pediatric Therapist or equivalent credential.
- 2-4 years of experience working with children in a therapeutic setting.
- Strong understanding of child development and therapeutic techniques.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to engage and build rapport with children and their families.
- Commitment to professional growth and staying current with industry trends.
