The FP&A Manager will be responsible for driving financial planning budgeting forecasting and performance analysis to support strategic decision-making within the construction business. The role requires strong financial acumen project-based cost management expertise and the ability to-partner with operations and project teams to ensure financial efficiency and profitability.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and manage annual budgets forecasts and long-term financial models for construction projects and corporate operations.
- Provide financial insights and analysis on project performance cost variances and profitability.
- Partner with project managers and operations teams to monitor budgets cash flows and capital expenditures.
- Analyze trends in construction costs overheads and revenues to identify risks and opportunities.
- Prepare monthly and quarterly management reports with variance analysis and KPIs.
- Support bid pricing contract reviews and project financial feasibility studies.
- Assist in developing financial strategies for working capital optimization and cost efficiency.
- Ensure compliance with accounting standards company policies and internal controls.
- Present financial insights to senior leadership to aid strategic planning and decision-making.
Qualifications & Skills:
- Bachelors degree in Finance Accounting or related field (Masters/MBA preferred).
- Professional qualification (CFA CPA CMA ACCA) is an advantage.
- 5 to 8 years of experience in FP&A; with exposure to the construction or infrastructure industry preferred.
- Strong knowledge of project accounting cost control and cash flow management.
- Advanced Excel financial modeling and ERP systems experience (e.g. SAP Oracle JD Edwards).
- Excellent analytical problem-solving and communication skills.
- Ability to work cross-functionally with project managers and senior stakeholders.
