Your Tasks
- Relationship management between the Importer (and its team) and MAN (Middle East and HQ)
- Tender/project management and support
- Liaison with HQ source plants 3rd party bodybuilders and sub suppliers on a daily basis
- Configuring buses and chassis
- Assist the Importer with various sales support activities which will enable him to achieve bus sales targets in his particular market (this may include direct sales in the event that the Importer is not suitably equipped)
- Market research and market forecasting for the Centre
- Direct contact with end customers and maintaining relations.
- Attending industry meetings (UITP etc.) and representing MAN on a number of working groups
- Act as an MAN ambassador in the widest sense - representing the Group with professionalism integrity and effectiveness.

Your Qualification
- A Degree in Commerce/Engineering/Marketing from a recognised university or equivalent qualification and minimum 10 years in the automotive or industrial equipment business
- Minimum 5 years hands-on experience in a senior sales or sales engineering position
- Demonstrated above average performance in sales or product support projects
- Demonstrated ability to work with sales teams sales management and brand management at Importer or Dealer level
- Ability to recognise gaps in product offerings sales support activities and human resources and to draft remedial strategies for implementation
- Working knowledge of commercial vehicle supply chains logistics and costing
- Working knowledge of legislative requirements associated with vehicle selection and transport solutions
- Having a multicultural background and/or knowledge of the Arabic culture is a distinct advantage.
- Driving licence for passenger cars preferably also for trucks and buses
