Job Summary
BMC Dubai Branch is seeking a qualified and versatile faculty member to teach Physics Biology and Chemistry in the Preparatory Year Program. This role is essential in equipping students with strong foundational knowledge in natural sciences to support their academic journey in health and medical disciplines. The ideal candidate will hold a Ph.D. in Natural Sciences demonstrate teaching excellence and fulfill the academic standards set by the KHDA and QFEmirates.
Teaching & Student Engagement
Deliver engaging and interdisciplinary courses in Physics Biology and Chemistry tailored to students entering health and medical fields.
Ensure course delivery aligns with KHDA frameworks and the National Qualifications Framework (QFEmirates).
Promote active learning scientific thinking and ethical awareness in scientific practice.
Integrate technology and interactive methods to reinforce science concepts.
Academic Support
Advise and support students academically during the transition from high school to undergraduate healthcarerelated programs.
Monitor student progress and contribute to academic interventions when needed.
Curriculum & Quality Enhancement
Collaborate in curriculum design and periodic review to ensure scientific accuracy and alignment with KHDA regulations.
Contribute to quality assurance efforts documentation and institutional reporting.
Professional Development & Scholarly Work
Engage in continuous professional development related to teaching science education and interdisciplinary methods.
Participate in academic committees student events and knowledgesharing initiatives.
Requirements
- A Ph.D. in Natural Sciences (Physics Biology Chemistry or a related interdisciplinary field) from an accredited and recognized university.
- UAE MOE Equivalency Certificate is required or must be in progress at the time of hiring.
- Minimum 3 years of proven teaching experience in a higher education or preparatory program.
- Demonstrated ability to teach across multiple science disciplines effectively.
- English proficiency: IELTS Academic Band 7 (or equivalent) if the academic degree was not completed in English.
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience teaching science foundation courses in UAE or KHDAregulated institutions.
Familiarity with science education trends and studentcentered learning.
Ability to contribute to curriculum development in interdisciplinary healthrelated sciences.
