Job Summary
Hire Resolves client is urgently seeking the expertise of a Quantity Surveyor in the UAE.
Key Requirements:
- Quantity Surveying from a reputable South African University
- 8 years experience as a Quantity Surveying specialising in roads bridge and infrastructure projects
Main Duties:
- Handle postcontract functions including interim and final payments variations cash flows claims and contractual correspondence.
- Provide advice on contractual matters and ensure all requirements are met.
- Advise on contractors resource allocation and audit contractor payments.
- Ensure timely and complete submission of valuations.
- Record and check measurements of work completed.
- Prepare variations and dayworks.
- Monitor and update the final cost estimate for the contract.
- Review negotiate and prepare claim settlements.
- Coordinate and monitor the activities of the team.
- Prepare financial statements for monthly reporting
