You will be updated with latest job alerts via emailManage project logistics for customers within the mining renewables and industrial segments.
Participate in status meetings with key account customers providing updates on project milestones challenges and solutions to country managers logistics managers and vertical managers depending on location and type of project.
Design transport solutions to meet project requirements in terms of transit time budget and quality standards.
Coordinate with 3rd party logistics providers globally and approved vendors in Africa.
Oversee and supervise transport and logistics solutions worldwide including out-of-gauge transport vessel cargo handling and coordination between stakeholders (shippers and receivers).
Prepare internal and external reports on shipping progress KPIs and milestones.
Verify shipping and cargo documentation prior to dispatch.
Conduct on-site cargo inspections and supervision as required.
Carry out specific project-related route surveys.
Prepare cost verifications and submit for invoicing.
Minimum of 3 years experience in freight forwarding preferably within project cargo segments.
Relevant educational background in Shipping and Logistics.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word Excel Outlook).
Experience with freight forwarding/logistics systems is preferred.
Knowledge of international shipping terms and general customs specifications.
Technical background in transport shipping or similar fields is a plus but not required.
Strong communication and stakeholder management skills in English.
Independent with the ability to schedule and prioritise work effectively.
Strong problem-solving skills.
Ability to perform under pressure and meet deadlines.
Attention to detail.
French or Portuguese language skills would be an advantage but are not required.
Must be able to travel for projects within the Schengen area (valid visa or visa-free passport required).
Significant global travel including Africa is expected.
