Position: Dispatcher
We are currently seeking a highly organized and detailoriented Dispatcher to join our team in Abu Dhabi. The ideal candidate will have excellent communication skills a strong ability to multitask and a passion for providing exceptional customer service. As a Dispatcher you will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth and efficient operation of our transportation services.
Key Responsibilities:
Receive and process transportation requests from clients both internal and external
Assign drivers and vehicles to transport goods and materials according to delivery schedules and customer requirements
Monitor and track the movement of vehicles using GPS systems and communicate updates to clients and drivers
Coordinate with the operations team to ensure timely and efficient delivery of goods
Respond to any issues or delays that may arise during transportation and find solutions to minimize disruptions
Maintain accurate records of transportation activities and update the system with relevant information
Communicate with clients to provide updates on delivery status and address any concerns or complaints
Ensure compliance with company policies procedures and safety regulations at all times
Collaborate with other departments to improve processes and enhance overall customer satisfaction
Qualifications:
High School Diploma or equivalent; additional certification in logistics or transportation is a plus
2 years of experience in dispatching logistics or a related field
Excellent communication and customer service skills
Strong organizational and timemanagement abilities
Proficiency in using GPS systems and dispatch software
Knowledge of transportation regulations and safety procedures
Ability to work under pressure and handle multiple tasks simultaneously
Flexibility to work on a rotating shift schedule including weekends and holidays
Fluent in English; knowledge of Tagalog Bengali or Sinkala is an advantage
