The incumbent will oversee the allocation process within the Sports Common business unit ensuring optimal product distribution across retail outlets under GMG. The role focuses on balancing inventory aligning stock with consumer demand and executing effective merchandising strategies. The incumbent will work closely with the Merchandising team to implement allocation plans that enhance the operational efficiency and financial performance of the Sports division.
The incumbent will manage the end-to-end allocation process for the Sports Common division analyzing sales data and planned inventory distribution.
The incumbent will collaborate with cross-functional teams to monitor inventory levels ensuring alignment with sales targets and seasonal trends.
The incumbent will generate data-driven reports to track performance and inform future allocation decisions.
They will also ensure timely replenishment of products in high-performing outlets while addressing underperforming stock through redistribution strategies.
The incumbent will oversee the adherence to GMGs allocation guidelines implementing improvements based on market insights.
They will support in evaluating promotional and markdown strategies to optimize stock turnover.
The incumbent will also liaise with logistics to resolve any supply chain disruptions affecting product flow.
