Job Summary
Apt Resources is seeking a skilled MEP Engineer to join our clients prestigious team at a Royal Palace. In this prominent role you will be responsible for overseeing the maintenance and operation of mechanical electrical and plumbing systems within the palace. You will ensure that all systems function efficiently maintaining the highest standards of safety and comfort in this unique environment.
Responsibilities
- Conduct regular inspections of MEP systems identifying issues and implementing corrective actions
- Manage maintenance schedules and ensure timely completion of maintenance tasks
- Supervise and coordinate the work of maintenance staff and contractors
- Troubleshoot and resolve MEP system malfunctions and inefficiencies
- Ensure compliance with applicable safety and building codes
- Develop and implement preventive maintenance programs
- Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities issues and resolutions
- Collaborate with other departments to ensure seamless facility operations
Requirements
- Bachelors degree in Mechanical Electrical or Civil Engineering
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in MEP engineering or facility maintenance
- Strong knowledge of building systems codes and regulations
- Proven experience in managing maintenance projects and teams
- Excellent analytical and problemsolving skills
- Strong communication and interpersonal abilities
- Proficiency in maintenance management software is a plus
- Ability to work flexibly and respond to emergencies quickly
- Must have a valid UAE driving License
