Job Summary

Required Qualifications and Skills:

Education: Diploma/B.E./ in Mechanical/Production/Chemical Engineering.
Experience: 25 years in lubricant or FMCG/chemical/liquid filling industry.

Working Conditions:

Shift-based work (may include night shifts or weekends).
Exposure to lubricants and packaging environment.
Standing for long hours on shop floor.

Key Responsibilities:

Production Operations:

Daily planning and execution of lubricant oil filling as per production schedule.
Operate and monitor filling machines (semi/fully automatic).
Ensure correct filling volume sealing labeling and batch coding.
Minimize wastage and monitor yield.

Team Supervision:

Supervise and guide filling operators and helpers.
Allocate manpower as per shift plan.
Conduct daily toolbox meetings and shift handovers.

Machine Maintenance Coordination:

Coordinate with the maintenance team for routine servicing and breakdowns.
Maintain basic preventive maintenance of filling machines.
Ensure all safety interlocks and sensors are functioning properly.

Quality & Compliance:

Ensure adherence to SOPs GMP and ISO standards.
Conduct in-process quality checks (e.g. fill weight leak test visual inspection).
Liaise with QA/QC team for sampling and approvals.

Safety & Housekeeping:

Enforce PPE usage and safety protocols on the shop floor.
Maintain 5S and hygiene in the filling area.
Report and record near misses incidents or unsafe conditions.

Documentation & Reporting:

Maintain shift-wise production logs downtime records and material consumption reports.
Prepare daily production reports and share with management.
Ensure traceability and batch records are properly maintained.
