Our Oilfield Services business provides intelligent connected technologies to monitor and control our energy extraction assets. Our Wireline Services deliver high quality wireline data acquisition services at the wellsite. As a Junior Maintenance Engineer you will be providing high-quality maintenance services to our customers at their field locations. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver successful projects and develop innovations. You will contribute to the success of a large team that plays an integral part in our business.
As a Junior Maintenance Engineer you will be responsible for:
- Performing complex and difficult tasks with minimal supervision.
- Working with pre-defined procedures in line with established work practices and quality standards but in some exceptional situations expected to work with minimal instruction and documentation.
- Learning to identify equipment malfunctions and repair before catastrophic failure.
- Assisting in reworking repairing and modifying non-conforming equipment
- Identifying and communicating technical problems by using logicaltroubleshooting techniques. Provide coaching to other technicians in areas of proven competence
- Assisting in incident investigations and troubleshooting
- Assisting in the enhancement of maintenance processes documentation and quality.
Fuel your passion
To be successful in this role you will:
- Have a bachelors degree in Electrical/Electronics/Mechatronics engineering
- Have relevant industry experience on electronic equipment and sensors with basic knowledge of mechanical hydraulics preferred
- Have excellent electronic soldering skills and reading engineering diagrams skills
- Have the ability to show good multitask problem-solving process improvement and analytical skills
