Job Summary:
We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Early Years / Kindergarten Teacher to join a leading international school in Abu Dhabi. This role is ideal for a South African female educator who is a native English speaker and has a genuine passion for nurturing young learners in a diverse multicultural environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver engaging and developmentally appropriate lessons for children aged 3 6 years.
- Foster a warm safe and stimulating classroom environment.
- Plan and implement educational activities that promote early literacy numeracy and social-emotional development.
- Observe assess and document children s progress.
- Collaborate with colleagues and parents to support student learning and well-being.
- Incorporate play-based and inquiry-led learning approaches.
- Uphold the school s values and curriculum standards.
Requirements
Qualifications & Experience:
- Bachelor s Degree in Early Childhood Education or related field (mandatory).
- Minimum 2 years of teaching experience in a Kindergarten or Early Years setting.
- Native English speaker (South African nationality only).
- Valid teaching certification/license preferred (e.g. PGCE ).
- Previous international teaching experience is an advantage.
- Familiarity with British EYFS Reggio Emilia or IB PYP framework preferred.
